Iván Ferrer-Orozco

[audio:Trace.mp3|titles=Trace IV Anamnesis]Iván Ferrer-Orozco's (Mexico City, Mexico, 1976) music has been played at concert series and festivals by soloists and ensembles of Mexico, Spain, South Korea, Canada, Germany, Italy and USA. He has been guest composer at the Conservatory of Music of Montreal and Resident Composer with the Contemporary Ensemble of Montreal. As curator and producer he has presented the Ars Automata project in Spain, and the acousmatic music project Sonidero performed in Mexico and South Korea. He was awarded at the International Call of Scores of the MATA Festival in 2011, of the San Diego New Music and the NOISE Ensemble in 2010, and of the Seattle Latin American Music Festival in 2008. Iván is principal conductor of the CONATUS ENSEMBLE and director of InterAcciona, symposium of new technologies applied to the music creation in Mexico.
