Maxim KolomiietsComposer, oboist, organizer.Maxim was born in 1981 year in Kyiv.He graduated from the National Music Academy of Ukraine in 2005 as oboist and in 2009 as composer.Co-founder of Ensemble Nostri Temporis and founder of the ensemble of ancient music Luna Ensemble.He is the winner of the national competitions “Gradus ad Parnassum” (Kyiv, 2000), “Step to the Left” (Saint Petersburg, 2012) and III Prize on Vareler Komponistenpreis (Oldenburg, 2015).As the performer he took part in many Ukrainian and foreign festivals and also master courses "Ensemble-Akademie" (Freiburg) – offer courses on the performance practice of historical (Freiburg Baroque Orchestra) and contemporary music (Ensemble Recherché), Summer New Music Courses in Darmstadt (2010), impuls academy (Graz, 2011), Per suonare l'oboe (Freiburg, 2011).His music has been performed at the international festivals : "Other space" (Moscow), "Gogolfest" (Kyiv),"Contrasts" (Lviv), Summer New Music Courses in Darmstadt (Darmstadt), “Randfestspiele” (Zepernick, 2012), “World Music Days” (Leuven, 2012) etc.Among the performers of his music are the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine (Kyiv), Kyiv Chamber Orchestra (Kyiv), Syrinx Flute Quartet (Moscow), Ensemble Nostri Temporis (Kyiv), GAM-Ensemble (Moscow), Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble (Moscow), musikFabrik (Cologne), Lions Gate Trio (U.S. und Europa), Vladislav Pesin (Moscow), Ian Pace (London), Helen Beldsoe (Cologne).Since 2014 he has been studying composition in Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln in class Johannes SchöllhornSince 2015 he is the solo-oboist of the Ukho Ensemble for contemporary music (Kyiv)
