Lawrence Dunn

PIECEWhile we are both (2016-17), NY PremiereBIOLawrence Dunn is a composer, improviser, pianist, and percussionist, presently based in Manchester. Recent pieces have been written for and performed by Quatuor Bozzini, Ilan Volkov and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Apartment House, Plus-Minus Ensemble, Slagwerk den Haag, Philip Thomas, Sarah Saviet, and the Set Ensemble. Performances have been given at Tectonics Festival, Glasgow; Sound Festival, Aberdeen; Klangspuren Schwaz; the London Contemporary Music Festival; Gaudeamus Musicweek, Utrecht, and broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and Dutch national radio NPO 4. Shortlisted for the 2018 Gaudeamus award, he was recently profiled in The Wire magazine.
