Loren Loiacono plans to step down as Executive Director in May 2021, in order to focus on composition projects and opportunities. Loren has served MATA for the last five years, first as Director of Operations before taking over as Executive Director in 2019.

“While the previous eleven months have posed unprecedented challenges for our community, I am proud of the work we have done. I leave secure in the knowledge that MATA’s leadership will not only continue its mission, but will shepherd the organization into a vigorous post-pandemic future.”

Reflecting on Lore'n’s five years, MATA’s President Jim Rosenfield adds, “working with Loren on a daily basis has been a great joy for me. On behalf of the MATA Board, we with her every success in her future endeavors.”
