Sam Adams - New Work (World Premiere)Performed by Lisa Moore, April 21, 2010WebsiteSamuel Adams (b. 1985) is a composer, conductor, and multi-instrumentalist from the San Fracisco Bay Area. His music is informed by his experiences as a jazz bassist in and around San Francisco. He received a Bachelors from Stanford University, where he studied primarily with Mark Applebaum and Erik Ulman. His works have been performed by The Paul Dresher Ensemble, Beta Collide, The Stanford New Ensemble, and Yale Philharmonia, Lisa Moore and Karen Bentley-Pollick. He is currently a student at the Yale School of Music where he studies with Martin Bresnick.
