Helen Papaioannou

Helen Papaioannou is a composer from Leeds who is based in Bristol, UK. Helen received her PhD in composition from Newcastle University, and she also performs as a tenor/baritone saxophonist. Her music has been performed in Europe and across the UK, involving collaborations with Nieuw Ensemble, Galvanize Ensemble, LSO, Northern Sinfonia, Kate Halsall and Fumiko Miyachi, Henrik Frisk and Stefan Östersjö, Renzo Spiteri, Michael Speers, Hannabiell Sanders, Notos Quartet, the Busch Ensemble and Alessandro Altavilla.
