Adam de la Cour
Adam de la Cour (b.1979) is active as a composer, guitarist, vocalist, and clown. As an artist he's predominantly interested in absurdity and satire, often writing pieces that involve himself as performer/participant and often victim, such as in the projects The Best of "Futility Music" - Volume 1 and Batsu!!! Humiliating Music for Electric Guitar.He studied composition with Michael Finnissy, and his music encompasses various genres including contemporary classical, experimental, metal, and free improv. He has performed and written for various festivals across Europe and the UK, and been on TV in Kazakhstan.He is a co-founder of squib-box, alongside Neil Luck and Federico Reuben. Squib-box is an avant-garde collective and net-label, dedicated to the production and dissemination of radical music from all genres.
