Arcan İsenkul (b. 2005); Turkey
Arcan Isenkul was born in 2005, Ankara. In 2014, he started the viola with Ece Akyol in Bilkent University Music Primary School. December 2017, he received the second prize in Grand Prize Virtuoso. He won the first prize in IX. International Young Musicians Competition. In 2017-2018-2019, he attended the Luzerne Music Center in the USA with a full scholarship and studied viola with Laura Manko. In 2018, he won the Concerto Competition in LMC. May 2019, he won the first prize and the Artistic Director’s Special Award in 29th Young Musician International Competition 'Città di Barletta'. April 2021, he won the first prize in the viola category, as well as in the chamber category with his chamber music group. He took part in the concerts of the Bilkent Youth Symphony Orchestra, Ankara Youth Symphony Orchestra, Turkish Youth Philharmonic Orchestra. As a junior-year student, he continues his viola studies with Cavid Cafer and composition studies with Can Bilir.
