Paul Pinto is a composer, writer and multi-disciplinary performer. He founded the experimental music ensembles thingNY and Varispeed. Paul released his latest album, minis/Trajectories, on vinyl, CD and digitally, featuring eight verbose chamber compositions. Last year, Paul performed the lead in Eight Songs for a Mad King. This year, he sings the role of Balaga (which he originated) in Broadway’s Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812. Most years, he arranges and performs the works of Robert Ashley. His psychedelic electronic opera, Thomas Paine in Violence, premieres at the HERE Arts Center for November 2017 starring Joan La Barbara.
